Jody is a retired Coast Guard officer with extensive leadership, management, and maritime experience. She served in a variety of roles, including shipboard operations, training, military intelligence, and international relations. She enthusiastically shares her expertise in leader and team development, contingency planning, and interagency coordination. Jody is committed to service and understands that navigating change is challenging. That is why she and her husband, Chris, co-founded Always Ready Consulting:  to continue serving communities by enabling organizational transformation, developing teams and leaders, and implementing business continuity plans.

Christopher is a seasoned leader having gained valuable experience and education throughout a 21-year career in the U.S. Army. While in uniform, Chris acquired expertise in leader and team development, crisis management, and European and Eurasian politico-military affairs. Following retirement from the Army, Chris embarked on a path to explore two passions. Through volunteerism and participation in food system advocacy groups, he addresses food insecurity in Central Pennsylvania and Central Virginia. As the Chief Executive Officer of Always Ready Consulting, LLC, he explores opportunities to apply the knowledge, skills, and abilities from his military service to the private sector.
